How to use it

How to use it

Choose Sprint, Standard (Olympic), IRONMAN 70.3, IRONMAN or Custom. Enter swim pace /100 m or total swim time, average bike speed or total bike time, run pace /km or total run time, and T1/T2 times. For example, Standard (Olympic) at 1:40/100 m, T1 3:00, 32 km/h, T2 2:00 and 5:00/km gives a total of 2:35:00.

Limits

What you need to know

The calculation adds the times you enter for the three sports and transitions. Accuracy depends on how realistic those values are. It does not account for course profiles, open-water conditions or currents, heat or accumulated fatigue. For race fuelling, see the Race Fueling Calculator.

Methodology & Sources

Formula: the sum of five times (Swim + T1 + Bike + T2 + Run). Distances: Sprint 750 m / 20 km / 5 km and Standard (Olympic) 1500 m / 40 km / 10 km follow World Triathlon. IRONMAN 70.3: 1.9 km / 90 km / 21.1 km. IRONMAN: 3.8 km / 180 km / 42.2 km, according to IRONMAN.
